Farm Team Award / Lifetime Achievement Award / Pork Industry Leadership Award

FARM TEAM AWARD

Purpose

The Farm Team Award seeks to recognize the farm unit which operates in an exemplary manner through commitment and longevity of the staff and virtues of hard work and cooperation. The Award celebrates the dedication of the team toward working together for the success of the farm.

Eligibility Requirements
  1. The award is open to any farm unit in the pork industry that works well within the farm team and within the community.
  2. Recipients of the award are not eligible for future nominations.
  3. The size of the production unit is not to be a criteria of selection.
  4. Selection will be based on the farm unit, as well as on pork industry involvement and internal employee relations.
  5. Those who are to be excluded will the the Alberta Pork Congress directors and their employees, sponsors of awards and their employees, Award Committee members and their employees, and Alberta Pork Congress employees.
Nominations
  1. Nominations must be received by the office:
    Alberta Pork Congress
    PO Box 4143, Station C, Calgary, Alberta T2T 5M9
  2. The nomination forms must be completed by the nominator.
  3. Anyone may nominate a candidate except members of the Awards Committee.
  4. Additional nomination kits are available through the Alberta Pork Congress office.
  5. Information will be kept confidential to the Awards Committee.
Award One award will be presented annually if a suitable candidate is nominated. The winner will be presented with a plaque and will be recognized in an awards presentation during the Alberta Pork Congress Banquet.

FEEDRITE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Purpose

The FeedRite Lifetime Achievement Award seeks to honour individuals who have played an integral role in advancing the pork industry in Alberta. The Award celebrates their long-term commitment and unwavering dedication to the industry.

Eligibility Requirements
  1. The award is open to anyone in the industry who has made an outstanding contribution to the pork industry in Alberta.
  2. Recipients of the award are not eligible for future nominations.
  3. Awards can be made posthumously.
  4. Those who are to be excluded will the the Alberta Pork Congress directors and their employees, sponsors of awards and their employees, Award Committee members and their employees, and Alberta Pork Congress employees
Nominations
  1. Nominations must be received by the office:

ELANCO ANIMAL HEALTH PORK INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP AWARD

Purpose

The Elanco Animal Health Pork Industry Leadership Award seeks to honour individuals whose efforts reflect a commitment above and beyond the accepted expectations of the pork industry in Alberta; to recognize individuals whose actions have become a valuable asset to the pork industry; and to acknowledge individuals whose actions have become models for peer recognition.

Eligibility Requirements
  1. The award is open to anyone who has made an outstanding contribution to the pork industry.
  2. Recipients of the award are not eligible for future nominations.
  3. Awards cannot be posthumously.
  4. Those who are to be excluded will the the Alberta Pork Congress directors and their employees, sponsors of awards and their employees, Award Committee members and their employees, and Alberta Pork Congress employees
